Alhamdulillah, our Islamic Center of New York City was able to get a temporary permit for assembly (TPA) which will allow us to host iftars for our community every night for the last 10 nights of Ramadan inshallah! We are so excited to break fast with you in our new space and let each of you see it for yourselves before construction and renovations start.
RSVP is required to ensure we meet the attendance numbers allowed by the TPA, so please be sure to sign up to attend by clicking here or at the button below.
Sign Up To Be An Iftar Volunteer
This is a big moment for us and we’ll need everyone’s help to make sure things run as smoothly as possible. If you are able to volunteer on any (or all) of the last 10 nights of Ramadan, please fill out our volunteer signup sheet here. You can also sign up to volunteer at our Eid Brunch and Eid Bazaar on the same form inshallah.
Help Sponsor An Iftar
Our plan is to keep iftar free and open to all inshallah and we are looking to our community to help make that happen. As this our first time hosting iftar at our new space, we are estimating costs to be ~ $7000/night. This will cover cost of food for 300 to 500 people, supplies, and security/fire guards. Based on the RSVP amounts, this number might adjust.
