The Islamic Center of New York City is at the beginning of that journey. While our permanent home is being renovated, our work has already begun. We are building more than a building - we are building an institution. An institution rooted in worship, learning, service, belonging, and a commitment to strengthening our communities and the city we call home.
To help bring this vision to life, we are assembling our founding team. These early members of our team will help establish the systems, programs, culture, and public presence that will shape ICNYC for generations. The work done during this formative period will influence not only what the Center becomes, but how it serves its community.

Deputy Director
A senior organizational leader who will partner closely with the Executive Director & Head Imam to translate vision into execution by building the systems, structures, and institutional foundation needed for long-term success.

Director of Programs & Community Engagement
A senior community and program leader who will help define the Center's public life by developing meaningful educational, spiritual, cultural, civic, and community initiatives while building lasting relationships across New York City.

Operations & Administration Manager
An organizational builder who will help establish the administrative systems, processes, and infrastructure that allow the Center to operate effectively and grow sustainably.

Programs & Community Engagement Manager
A community-focused leader who will help develop initiatives, coordinate partnerships, and create experiences that foster connection, learning, and belonging.

Digital Media & Communications Manager
A storyteller and communications professional who will help shape the Center's digital presence, document our journey, preserve our institutional memory, and share the story of ICNYC with the broader community.
